In honor of nature lover and patron saint of animals St. Francis of Assisi, the Cathedral will hold the annual Blessing of the Animals service on Sunday, October 1, 2017, noon, at the St Francis statue near the office entrance.
The Blessing of the Animals service offers an opportunity for pets to receive an individual blessing and a St. Francis medallion while celebrating the important role pets hold in our lives. All creatures great and small – and their human companions – are welcome
