BLESSING OF BACKBACKS AND THE STUDENTS WHO CARRY THEM. With the start of school just around the corner, we’re going to bless backpacks and our school-age members, pre-K through college, at the 10:30 service on August 27th. At announcement time, students will be called forward with their backpacks to gather at the altar rail for a prayer that they would have a blessed and fruitful school year.
